“Make it simple, but significant.”
Don Draper, Mad Men
Penny Benda
My career began n San Francisco, working on projects with designer Michael Vanderbyl, soon followed by collaborations with others, including Deanna Kuhlmann-Leavitt, Jennifer Morla, Regina Rubino, Reddoor Creative, and the Edition design group. Beyond contract work with prominent designers and business entities big and small, I have held positions as a senior writer for Austin-Knight Advertising, TMP Worldwide, Chong Partners Architecture, and Smith & Hawken. I hold a BA in European Literature and an MA in Humanities.
What drives me? Love of language. The challenge to capture a brand voice. and tell its story. A genuine connection with people who contribute to culture and community.
